Sara leads our team to live out the commitment to excellence to our customers. A graduate of the University of Illinois-Urbana and Northern Illinois University, she began her career in corporate America in the consumer packaged goods industry as a consumer data and logistics consultant.

She has served as a 3 PL business consultant for Walmart, CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Dollar General, Procter and Gamble, L’Oreal, Alberto-Culver, and Luster Products.

In 2020, Sara expanded the product offering of Diversity Connected beyond logistics consulting to freight truck service and loose building material hauling. She is committed to bringing gender diversity to the traditionally male-dominated freight truck and loose building materials hauling industry.

With guidance from the WBDC, WBENC, Women’s Business Council – Southwest, Cook County, and the Southland Development Authority, Allies for Community Business, and Capital One’s SAGE diverse business development program, Diversity Connected has created living-wage careers for our female-dominant CDL truck driver team.

Sara is the proud mother of 2 children, Kris and Josh. She is a faith-based youth lay leader and a bowling enthusiast. The causes she is most passionate about include remediating domestic violence, youth illiteracy, and social justice matters. Sara is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
