Auntie’s Corner: Real Talk. Real Strategy. Real Growth.

When the system stalls, we build our own.

Intro Copy:

Starting and growing a business in Illinois right now isn’t just challenging—it’s *personal*. As a sanctuary state, federal resources for women-owned businesses are delayed or paused. That leaves many young women feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure where to turn for guidance.
Welcome to Auntie’s Corner. This is more than mentorship—it’s **Business Healing & Growth** for women in business 5 years or less. We focus on *clarity, confidence,* and *continuity* in a season where it’s easy to stop.
If you’ve ever said “I don’t know where to start,” “I can’t keep doing this alone,” or “I need someone who’s done this before”—you’re in the right place.

The Why:

This program was born out of a policy-driven void. Apex Accelerators and SBDCs—federally funded programs that should serve you—are strained. Women entrepreneurs in Illinois are building in a resource desert.
So we’re shifting the model. We’re bringing culturally grounded, heart-led business strategy to the forefront. Led by Sara Gregory, founder of Diversity Connected, this isn’t just coaching. It’s *community-based strategy, support, and survival.
